A One Day National Seminar on the burning theme “Emerging Trends, Challenges and Innovative Approaches in Education with Emphasis on the newly introduced Two Year B.Ed Programme” was recently organized by the Centre for Teacher Education of IPEM, Ghaziabad on 23^rd September 2017. The objective of the Seminar was to indicate the main changes that have incurred in teacher education after the implementation of the two-year B.Ed Curriculum and to get an overview of trends, reforms, and innovations in teacher education. It was also intended to help the student teachers to become effective teachers by understanding the pedagogy of their specific teaching subjects, as an integration of knowledge about the learner, the discipline, and the societal context of learning by carrying them out in real-life situations.
