To honor the contribution and service to the country B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti is celebrated who was a principal architect of the Constitution of India, Ambedkar also advocated for women’s rights and labours’ rights and recognized as the first Law and Justice Minister of Independent India.
Vaisakhi celebrates the harvest of rabi
crops and farmers offer thanksgiving to the deity for a good harvest and prosperity. This day is celebrated with pomp and show in northern India. The festival marks the arrival of Punjabi New Year.
