On the 27th of November, the Management Department of IPEM UG Campus in collaboration with Ghaziabad Management Association (GMA), organized an International Webinar on “Demystifying Marketing Analytics for Data Driven Decision Making”. The objective of this event was to understand how with the help of various Marketing Analytics tools like Google Analytics, MixPanel, Improvodo, Cafe etc., the vast data available both in digital and offline mode can be analyzed for gaining a better perspective on customer preference for certain types of products, the prices they prefer, shift in the consumer behavior with time etc. for designing suitable Marketing Strategies. The speakers, Mr. Pankaj Sharma, Assistant Professor, IPEM UG Campus and Dr. Samarth Singh, Associate Professor, Birla Global University put forward all the predominant points relating to both, the sources of data, as well as how to utilize this vast data optimally, through use of various software for making effective and efficient marketing strategies. The Webinar saw huge participation from India as well as outside countries like the U.S.A., Philippines, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria etc. The event was conducted online through the use of the Zoom App. Overall, the event was a big success as every participant gained valuable knowledge regarding the emergence of various data sources especially online, as well as how the Marketing Analytics tools have made both producer and consumer stand on the same platform i.e., Customer Satisfaction.
