Entrepreneurship is known to be a driving force behind economic growth in recent years. Some of the world’s most popular products and everyday items were created by entrepreneurs. They started off as simple ideas that needed a well-organized plan and funding to see it off toward success. To focus upon some do’s and don’ts and to share some trade secrets with entrepreneurs a guest lecture on “Entrepreneurship” was organised by Management Department, IPEM, on 27 February 2020. As a Resource Person Mr. Vijay Anand, Founder of Chota Kingdom and an incubation expert was invited to address the students. The session started with an introduction to“entrepreneurship”. How one should be passionate about making their ideas work. He discussed different strategies which entrepreneurs are making to attract customers like free deliveries, exchange policies, discounts through their online apps etc. Students wanted to know how to spot opportunities and how their education helped the young entrepreneurs with planning, financing and managing their businesses. He conveyed the importance of proper planning and structured learning through education. The session was informative and interactive.
