National Seminar on “Managing Business with Human Values: Challenges and Measures”

A one day National Seminar on “Managing Business with Human Values: Challenges and Measures” was organized by the Management Department on 24th March 2018. The objective of the Seminar was to critically examine the challenges faced by Professionals and suggest measures for Managing Business with Human Values-based Principles and Ethics. The sub-themes of the Seminar were Sustainable Development, Business Ethics, Workplace Harmony, Holistic Development and Corporate Social Responsibility. The Chief Guest of the Seminar was Prof. Ved Prakash, Former Chairman, UGC. The Presiding Speaker of the Inaugural Session in the Seminar was Mr. Bimal Jain, Chairperson of, Management Advisory Board, IPEM and the keynote speaker was Swami Prakarshananda, Chinmaya Mission, New Delhi. In Technical Session-I, Speakers from Industry and Social Service Organisations expressed their views regarding various sub-themes of the Seminar and in Technical Session-II, more than 30 Research papers were presented on the topics related to the theme of the Seminar. At the end of the Seminar a Valedictory Address was presented and HOD Management, Dr. Dolly Phillips expressed gratitude on behalf of IPEM to all the Dignitaries, Speakers and more than 100 participants from academia and industry for making the Seminar a great success.
