A Two Days Workshop on ‘Entrepreneurship Development’ was organized by the Management Department of IPEM, Ghaziabad in association with NIESBUD (National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development) Noida on 7th & 8th Sep 2018. The Workshop was inaugurated with Lamp Lighting by Secretary IPEM, Mr. Anupam Goel, Director General IPEM, Col. (Dr.) A.S.Malhotra and Dean Academics IPEM, Dr. Sugandha Goel. On Day One, the First Session of the Workshop was conducted by Mr. Ravi Gupta, Entrepreneurship and Growth Coach and Trainer at NIESBUD, Noida. Mr. Ravi Gupta focused on Entrepreneurial Spirit and Motivation as well as the significance of Mentoring in Entrepreneurship Development. The Second Session was taken by Mr. H.P.Singh, Chief Consultant, NIESBUD, Noida. Mr. H.P.Singh discussed about the marketing and Technical feasibility of Entrepreneurship and also shared some case studies of Start-up Ventures. On Day Two, the First Session was conducted by Mr. V.K.Arora who is working in the field of Entrepreneurship Development for the last 14 years and at present is the CEO of Anveshan Sansthan, affiliated with Indira Gandhi Technical University, New Delhi. Mr. Arora conducted some activities with students related to Creativity and Innovation in the context of Entrepreneurship. The Second Session was taken by Mr. R.K. Chandra, Sr. Advisor, Mudra Task Force, NIESBUD Noida. Mr. Chandra discussed about the various financial schemes being run by the Indian Government for Entrepreneurship Development. He also briefed about the various financial sources which can be tapped for establishing Entrepreneurial Ventures. At the end of the Workshop an activity ‘My Business Idea’ was also organized in which numerous students of IPEM, as well as more than 15 other Institutes of NCR, showcased their Business Ideas in-front of the audience. In the end, Dr. Dolly Phillips, HOD Management, IPEM Ghaziabad expressed a Vote of Thanks to all the participants for making the workshop a huge success.
