Management Department, IPEM, Ghaziabad organized a Workshop on Holistic Wellness@ Workplace on 16th March 2023 from 2 PM to 4 PM. The main objective of this workshop was to raise awareness, provide education and encourage employees to adopt healthier lifestyles.
Living a healthy lifestyle such as eating healthy, exercising, and avoiding junk will not only extend life, and rejuvenate skin and hair but also improves overall well-being. It will help you to feel better physically and mentally. Workplace wellness programs target a wide range of employee lifestyle behaviours (e.g., lack of exercise, poor eating habits, smoking, lack of sleep) and risk factors (e.g., chronic illness, obesity, addiction, depression, stress). Wellness programs don’t just increase productivity but also lead to increased engagement, improved employee morale and retention, and reduced health risks. The wellness workshop encourages the participants to eat healthier food, exercise more and manage stress more effectively. Workshop also helps participants to alleviate the symptoms of depression. They are a great way to promote good health and behaviours in the workplace. They can be fun, informative and very engaging.
